The Saudi King has approved the building of a whole town, called KAEC, the acronym of King Abdullah Economic City (www.kingabdullaheconomiccity.com). The gigantic project foresees the development of the second largest town in Saudi Arabia within the next ten years. This means that they will need 70 million cubic meters of concrete, exactly the yearly quantity of cement produced in Italy by the existing 2,500 plants during a period of strong building demand.This meant that the plant would guarantee a production not inferior to 270 cubic meters of concrete per hour.
